We are JibDar, introducing Persian artists to the world.
Who we are
We are art lovers, fresh graduates from University of Milano in different majors, from visual communication to fashion design and engineering. But we all fall in love with modern and classic Persian arts.
Currently we are introducing artisans like carpet weavers, woodworkers, ceramics and jewelry makers, but soon we will introduce other types of handmade things.
Why we do this
Persian artisans due to current situations cannot introduce themselves on platforms like Etsy, Amazon and other big marketplaces. We think they deserve to be introduced in these big platforms like other artisans around the world.
That’s the reason we built this platform to help them be introduced and sell their products in these platforms.
How we work
We have accounts in these platforms and we introduce artisans and handmakers there with their artworks. We help them sell completely transparent and under the maker’s observations.
We do all these for free for now. For the moment our focus is to bring more artists to our platform and help them sell more. This is the only thing that makes us happy.
Our belief
We love art in a world that pushes AI. We swim reverse.
Persian artisans create with their hands what machines cannot replicate. Every piece carries centuries of tradition and the maker’s personal story. We believe these artists deserve the same opportunities as creators everywhere, and we are here to make it happen.
